The Barbados Coast Guard is based at BCGS Pelican, Fort Willoughby, Bay Street, Bridgetown. It handles maritime law enforcement, search and rescue, and drug and border interdiction around the 200-mile exclusive economic zone. Mariners can reach the watch on VHF channels 6, 12 and 16.
