Rating: 4.6 / 5

Folkestone Marine Park and Visitor Centre, just north of Holetown in St. James, is a protected reserve on the calm Caribbean west coast. The park combines a swimming beach, safe shore snorkelling over a designated reef area, a shaded picnic ground, a small marine interpretation museum and a playground, all within easy walking distance. Troops of green monkeys are sometimes spotted in the surrounding trees, and a nearby artificial reef created from the wrecked Stavronikita freighter is popular with divers.
