The National Sports Council (NSC) summer camp is one of the longest-running sports programmes for children in Barbados, delivered across multiple venues during the summer holidays. The camp covers cricket, football, swimming, tennis, athletics, netball, basketball and more at facilities including the Sir Garfield Sobers Sports Complex, the Barbados Aquatic Centre, the Usain Bolt Sports Complex and coastal venues such as Brownes Beach. Qualified coaches provide structured training and fun, and the camp has introduced generations of Bajan children to competitive sport.
