The Gap is Barbados' main nightlife strip — a roughly 1.3km stretch of St. Lawrence Main Road between Dover and Worthing on the south coast, lined with bars, clubs, restaurants, and small hotels. Walk it end to end and you'll pass Cocktail Kitchen, McBride's, The Cove, Sharkey's, Harlequin, and Castaways among others, with something on most nights of the week. Sound systems, steel pan, karaoke, dancehall, and live bands all feature depending on the venue. Taxis are easy to flag, bus access is straightforward from Bridgetown and Oistins, and the strip stays lively from dusk well into the early hours.
