The Atlantis Historic Inn sits above Tent Bay in Bathsheba on the rugged east coast, a property with more than a century of history behind it. Its Sunday buffet lunch is the main event — a spread of Bajan classics including pepperpot, pickled breadfruit, stewed meats, rice, macaroni pie, flying fish and a long salad table, eaten on a terrace overlooking the Atlantic. The rest of the week the kitchen serves a more conventional Caribbean menu. The drive from the coast is a standard Sunday outing; reservations for the buffet are strongly recommended.
