Chefette

Fast Food · Island Wide

Rating: 4.5 / 5

Chefette is the homegrown Barbadian fast-food chain, founded in 1972, and is now the largest and most recognisable quick-service brand on the island, with more than a dozen outlets including several drive-thrus. The menu covers broasted chicken, rotis, burgers, pizza and the separately branded BBQ Barn, and outlets are open through to late evening. Chefette has a near-mythic status in Bajan culture — it is frequently cited as Rihanna's go-to on island visits — and functions as a meeting point as much as a place to eat. Prices are in Barbados dollars and service is quick.
