Tapas sits right on the Hastings boardwalk on the south coast, with tables stretching almost to the water's edge above the surf. The menu is a long list of small plates and larger mains with a Mediterranean-Caribbean lean — tapas, flatbreads, grilled fish, steaks and pastas — and the bar is best known for the Botanical Punch made with The Botanist-style local gin. Service runs from late morning through to 10:30pm daily, and the location makes it a natural stop on an evening walk along the boardwalk. Sunset tables book out fast.
