Barbados Wildlife Reserve & Monkey Tour
Nature · St. Peter
Rating: 4.4 / 5
The Barbados Wildlife Reserve sits in a four-acre mahogany forest near Farley Hill in St. Peter, founded in 1985 by primatologist Jean Baulu as a sanctuary for the Barbadian green monkey. Unlike a zoo, most animals — monkeys, tortoises, deer, agoutis, peacocks — roam free through the grounds, and you walk quiet pathways to find them. The 2pm monkey feeding is the highlight. This two-hour tour includes transport and admission. Pair it with Grenade Hall Signal Station next door, which is included in the reserve ticket.
