The Away Spa is the in-house spa at the W Barbados resort at Paynes Bay in St. James, one of the more design-led properties on the west coast. The facility is set up for couples and solo bookings, with treatment suites that look out toward the Caribbean, volcanic-stone massages, signature body rituals and packages that can fill a full day. Access is primarily for resort guests but day-spa bookings are usually accepted when availability allows. It sits at the premium end of the island's spa market in price and in finish.
