Worthing Beach

South Coast · Christ Church

Rating: 4.5 / 5

Worthing Beach is a calm, locally loved stretch of sand on the south coast directly behind the Worthing fish market. Casuarina trees line the back of the beach and the Richard Haynes boardwalk runs along its edge, connecting it to Hastings and Rockley with a level, shaded walking route. The water is usually gentle, good for wading and easy swims, and a small reef further out is home to turtles and reef fish. You'll find Bajans here on weekends for Sunday dips and family gatherings rather than tourist crowds, and there is good cheap food at the little stalls behind the sand.
