An unpretentious local bar on 1st Street in Holetown, St. James, set a short walk back from the west-coast beachfront hotels. Best known on the island for its Sunday-night karaoke, which packs the room out with Bajans and visitors taking the mic in roughly equal measure. Drinks are fairly priced, the atmosphere is genuinely local rather than staged, and a round of Banks here will always cost less than the resort up the road. Open daily from 4pm. 246-432-1444.
