Barbados Pride

LGBTQ+ Festival · July

Rating: 4.5 / 5

Barbados Pride is the island's annual LGBTQ+ celebration, typically staged around July with a programme of parties, community events, panel discussions and cultural gatherings. It is a younger festival than its North American and European counterparts, reflecting Barbados' own evolving social and legal landscape, and has grown steadily in visibility and attendance. Organised by local community groups, the events are welcoming to visitors as well as residents and form part of a wider movement toward greater diversity and inclusion in the Caribbean.
