Foreday Morning is the legendary pre-dawn 'jouvert' street jam of the Crop Over festival, staged in the early hours of the Saturday before Grand Kadooment. Revellers register with one of several bands and hit the streets of Bridgetown from around 3am covered in paint, mud, chocolate, water and powder to the sound of soca DJs on flatbed trucks. The party lasts into sunrise and is widely considered one of the wildest and most fun street fêtes anywhere in the Caribbean, a rite of passage for serious Crop Over fans.
