Holetown Festival

Heritage Festival · West Coast · February

Rating: 4.5 / 5

Holetown Festival is a week-long community celebration in mid-February marking the arrival of the first English settlers in Holetown in 1627, the beginning of permanent European settlement on the island. The festival mixes a street fair along Highway 1, a ceremonial procession to St. James Parish Church, historical exhibits, live music, classic car shows, craft markets, beach events and kids' activities. With Holetown itself a buzzing hub of restaurants, bars and the Limegrove Lifestyle Centre, the festival brings extra energy to the whole west coast.
