Barbados Hash House Harriers

Social Running · Every Saturday

Rating: 4.7 / 5

Barbados Hash House Harriers is the island chapter of the global Hash House Harriers, a social running and walking group that meets every Saturday afternoon at a different location around the island. Live-hares set trails through plantations, gullies, beaches and villages with the traditional mix of false trails and checks. There is no registration, membership or entry fee to worry about, and both running and walking options are available. Famously self-described as the drinking club with a running problem, it is a great way to see rural Barbados.

About sports in Barbados

Cricket is Barbados. Kensington Oval has hosted World Cup finals, and the island has produced some of cricket's greatest players including Sir Garfield Sobers and Hayley Matthews. Beyond cricket, Barbados offers horse racing at the historic Garrison Savannah, world-class surfing at Bathsheba, polo at Holders, rugby, football, and the Sol Rally — one of the biggest motorsport events in the Caribbean.
