Zed's Surfing Adventures is the island's best-known surf school, based at Surfer's Point on the south-east coast and run by long-time local waterman Zed Layson. The school teaches first-timers through to intermediate surfers at mellow beach breaks before stepping up to reef spots for more experienced students. Lessons include use of a soft-top board and rash guard, and Zed's team also runs guided surf tours to hidden breaks around the island. A great entry point for anyone wanting to learn to surf in Barbados with a patient, professional crew.
